Job Title: Level 1 IT Helpdesk Support Administrator

They are looking for a Level 1 IT Helpdesk Support Administrator to provide 1st level technical & system support to the business and IT assistance to their 2nd and 3rd Level IT support team.


Role & Responsibilities:
  • Providing 1st level technical & system support to the business
  • Providing IT assistance to our 2nd and 3rd Level IT support team
  • Logging support tickets and monitoring SLAs using our helpdesk management system
  • Liaising with other Departments to carry out tasks, such as desk/office moves, training, and off-site user support
  • Troubleshooting user issues and helping with their queries
  • Setting up PCs or Laptops for new Users
  • Providing Audio Visual support in the meeting room areas
  • Providing Audio and Video Conferencing Support
  • Providing general business application support (Document Management, Citrix, Email etc.
  • Fixing hardware issues with PCs, Laptops or Printers
  • Monitoring IT Environment using tools which provide real time reporting and dashboards
  • Other Level 1 IT duties as required



Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 6 months proven experience on a helpdesk dealing directly with end user queries
  • Must be tech savvy with good troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills with good spoken English
  • Strong ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently
  • Excellent team skills with a willingness to learn new technologies
  • A degree of flexibility with regards to ad-hoc duties and working hours

Hours of Work
They operate a shift pattern with three different shifts which are worked out on a weekly basis by the Helpdesk Supervisor.
  • 8am to 4:30pm
  • 8:30am to 5pm
  • 9:30am to 6pm
There is a requirement to be available to provide on-call support after hours (Mon through Friday or at weekends) which would be on a rota basis with an extra on-call allowance paid. They operate a hybrid model whereby you will be able to work from home one or two weeks per 6-week shift rotation.
