ESTHETICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES The job duties listed below are representative and characteristic of the duties required and the level of the work performed in the job title. The duties will vary depending on employees’ knowledge and experience. The following responsibilities will be allocated to the Esthetician, however; responsibilities are not limited to this listing only. Additional duties can be assigned to the employee at the discretion of the supervisor.
· Provide Medical Grade Skin Care
· Microdermabrasion
· Chemical Peels
· Provide an exceptional skincare experience for each patient, focusing on results and relaxation
· Build and maintain a relationship with each client and patient, personalize the service and product based on the persons need and concerns
· Learn and follow the Practices procedures, protocols, and product recommendations
· Provide skincare education to all clients and patients
· Assist in maintaining a professional and clean medical office.
· Schedule patient appointments
· Be available for patient consultation at request of physician
· Room patients, thoroughly explain treatment, expected results and potential risks, obtain patient signature on appropriate consents.
· Educate patients about our services and skincare products
· Prepare patients for injections and other procedures by provider
· Document patient and treatment information into electronic medical record
· Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
· Wash and sterilize a supplies, instruments and equipment
· Set up, clean and disinfect esthetician room
