National Homecare Services has been serving patients in Northern Louisiana for over 35 years. We use a multi-disciplinary approach in providing care to our patients, combining skilled nursing, home health aides, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure that our patients receive the best care for their individual needs. Working with National Homecare Services gives you the unique opportunity to provide patient-centered care in the comfort of the patients’ own home. As a home health nurse, you will travel to patients’ homes within a specified radius, providing individualized care to each patient, which provides you the opportunity to experience and learn new things.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize nursing knowledge and skills to deliver excellent individualized care to patients within the comfort of their homes.
• Gather data, evaluate patients, and maintain patient files, records, and other information in a professional manner, following the correct policies and procedures.
• Coordinate communication effectively with all parties involved in the patients’ care: caregivers, family, physicians, other home health team members, etc, to coordinate optimal care.
• Ability to adapt to change with a positive attitude.
• Report changes in patient condition and needs to the RN

What you bring to the table:

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing
• One year experience as a nurse
• Must hold a current state or compact state license
• Time Management Skills
• Organizational Skills
• Demonstrate good judgment in patient care
• Excellent communication skills
• Dependable transportation, driver’s license, and car insurance
• CPR Certified
• Willingness to serve others

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
