At Edley's we call our line cooks "Pit Bosses". Our Pit Boss handles our high quality products with speed and confidence. They love cooking and take pride in the food that they serve every day. Quality and consistency is key to this position. You must be able to read and follow our recipes accurately every day. This is a fast-paced environment and you must be prepared to work hard, but have fun.

You will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked.
• Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu.
• Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
• Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
• Stock inventory and supplies.
• Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Aptitude for multi-tasking.
• Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 50 pounds.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
