Currently we are in search for Live-in caregivers from the European Union to work all across Ireland.
- Clients are not just in County Dublin, but all across the Ireland. After passing the interview you will have an insight into clients profiles and decide on your own.
Job responsibilities:
By day, the carer does house-keeping, prepares meals, keeps company and provides personal care, if required. By night, the carer sleeps in the client's home, up to 7 nights per week. This gives the client (and their family) the comfort and reassurance of knowing that there is someone else in the house at night.
Carer normally works 7 to 8 hours per day, 5 to 6 days per week. Daily working schedule can be broken up into blocks of time...so that carer can be there when client needs him the most.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities.
- Assists residents with mealtime and encourages residents to eat a proper diet and take adequate fluids and records and reports changes in resident’s eating habits to the supervisor.
- Initiates and participates in leisure activities provided for residents as described in the activity calendar and encourages residents to socialize and participate in planned activities.
- Maintains residents’ records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Assists residents with medication as defined in medication procedure, leisure activities, incidents, and observations; reports any changes in resident’s physical condition and/or behaviour.
- Observes and reports the health and emotional condition of each resident; and promptly reports all changes to the supervisor.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the residents.
- Knows location of each resident, reminds them to sign out when they leave the building, and notifies the supervisor immediately if unable to locate a resident.
- Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises.
- Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
Candidate requirements:
· Age: 25+
· Good English language in speeach, reading and listening
· Flexible on location
· Willing to stay minimum of 3 or 6 months and more
· Non-smokers
· Preferably driver, but we have also clients who don't require a driver
· Nice, kind and friendly personality
· Minimum of six months professional experience
· No health or back problems that could affect their job
· If you are a vegetarian, you have no issue to cook meat for clients
· Minimal of two references required
· EU passport or EU Identity Card or VISA FORSTAMP
· Certificates not required, but are considered a plus
· Irish legal contract signed before flying to Ireland
- Valid Covid passport
Working conditions for our carers :
· Competitative basic salary = 1660 – 2500 gross euros/monthly
- For those with more experience basic salary starts with 1900 gross euros/monthly
· 35 – 48 working hours per week
· Free accomodation and food
· 4 weeks paid holidays per year
· 1-2 days off per week
· Free ongoing training and support
· Flight ticket refunded after the first working month
