POSITION PURPOSE
The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator role is a shared services role that will support employees’ training throughout all of the Greater Philadelphia YMCA. This position will manage the LMS – SAP Litmos, required employee certifications, and training schedules for all roles. The LMS Administrator will focus on ensuring staff meet organizational and compliance standards to ensure a first-class membership experience that supports the GPY mission.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Maintains up-to-date trainings and assignments in the Litmos LMS
  • Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and valid for all departments.
  • Maintains knowledge and data of training requirements for all departments within the organization. including required certifications.
  • Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration and participation in outside training programs, including Y-USA training.
  • Develops and maintains organizational communication to ensure employees know about training and development events and resources.
  • Conducts follow-up surveys of completed training to evaluate and measure results.
  • Embodies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization
  • Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
  • SAP Litmos experience preferred, experience with another LMS platform
  • 1-3 years’ experience with employee training coordination
  • Bachelor Degree preferred but not required
  • Require completion of SAP Litmos Dojo training in first 30 days
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
ACQUIRE AND MAINTAIN THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATIONS
  • CPR/AED/O2 (valid 2 years with exception of Aquatics to renew annually), First Aid (valid 2 years) obtained through the American Red Cross
  • Requisite OSHA online trainings (valid 1 year unless otherwise noted)
  • Mandated Reporter Training (valid 5 years)
  • Additional training and development specific to your role as reference in onboarding packet.
