Jivetel is looking for a talented Porting Specialist to manage our growing porting needs. You’re a great match if you have at least 2 years of experience, are detailed, have high energy, and can multi-manage.

You must be able to consistently work from our Waterbury CT, office.

Responsibilities:

Creates and processes all new port (LNP) requests for new and existing customers accurately and timely

Verifying the accuracy, provisioning, and tracking of orders from implementation/delivery to billing

Handling local number porting escalations by facilitating close and frequent customer communication and escalating with underlying carriers

Troubleshooting / Escalating with the vendor for service-impacting issues

Handling project ports and contributing to core Professional Services projects, keeping the project manager and customers informed of porting updates for multiple locations throughout the lifecycle of the project;

Initiating and maintaining regular communication with Colleagues and vendors to review and verify orders, review required information to provide services requested, schedule/coordinate port dates

Performing data validation and entry as required;

Sup-ing ports based on the install date

Qualifications:

Experience in reading and interpreting CSRs, Phone bills, and LOA information required

Experience in provisioning LSRs and LNP orders required

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required

Must be able to multitask (work on no less than 100 ports at the same time LOL)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
