Marmon/Keystone is currently recruiting for the position of Logistics Analyst at our Norcross, Georgia facility.

This position is responsible for analyzing the movement of goods through our distribution network, problem solving and creating cost efficient processes for continuous improvement. Including but not limited to inbound material from suppliers, outbound to customers, transfers between branches, movements from outside processors, direct shipments from suppliers etc.

Key Job Duties Include -

• Coordinate incoming loads from suppliers working closely with purchasing.

• Create and implement process improvements by working effectively with logistics, operations, procurement, and sales to implement the most efficient processes.

• Review current logistics KPI’s and implement actions for improvements. Provide monthly reporting to management and drive continuous improvements to create the most cost-effective solutions.

• Actively work with Purchasing/Sales to identify poor/exceptional freight routes. Initiate action plans to reduce cost. Works with sales and purchasing as needed.

• Investigate and help resolve shipping discrepancies. Take necessary action to ensure that corrective actions are put in place to resolve issues permanently.

• Investigate and help to resolve daily shipments issues.

• Work closely with operations, sales, purchasing and logistics to analyze routes to ensure we are moving material in the most cost-effective manner possible.

• Coordinate and analyze decision making process, Fleet vs. Managed Transportation

• Assist with the development, training, and implementation of policies and procedures.

• Assist with cross functional communication

Key Qualifications Include -

• Associates degree within a business discipline preferred.

• Minimum of two years of planning and/or logistics work experience

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office 365

• Good technical skills

• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and show high level of initiative

• Background in Lean Management concepts preferred
