Position Summary
We are looking to hire a candidate who is inspired by the transformation happening with the latest advancements in 3D printing and wants to be part of this movement. Candidates must have prior experience to hit the ground running. This individual would be responsible for coordinating logistics, keeping inventory, and maintaining smooth operation of the facility. Familiarity with 3D printing and related products and printing procedures is preferred but not required. A successful candidate will have a high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and team-oriented disposition. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or similar
- Experience working with (1) inventory management (include tracking, fulfillment, and replenishment), (2) logistic management (including import/export and conferences), and (3) facility management.
- Experience working with ERP and forecasting strategies
- Experience conducting tracking and data analysis
- Product and inventory management certification a plus
- Willing to relocate to Chicago Metropolitan Area
Responsibilities
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels
- Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
- Manages schedules of deliveries and shipments to optimize operations
- Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients
- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics
- Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs
- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Oversee the entire process of a shipment, from acquisition to delivery
- Correspond with clients, suppliers, warehouses, and transportation hubs to ensure efficiency
- Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates
- Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries
- Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments
- Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers
