job Duties and responsibilities.

• Manage transportation and other logistics processes.
• Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistic providers.
• Create and implement best practices logistics principles, polices.
• Review Impact of logistics changes, sick as routing, shipping, modern product transit or delivery.
• Select carries/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria.
• Manage freight claim processing to make sure claims are processed in a timely manner.
• Ensure correct freight terms are assigned to all shipments.
• Perform metrics reporting and date analysis task to identify issues and opportunities for processing improvements.
• Responsible for keeping up on latest technology/software in the freight industry that ensures business needs are met.
• Partner and communicate with manufactures, suppliers and customers.

Skilled and experience required:

• 5 plus years of experience working on logistics, warehouse or transportation operations.
• bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration or transportation
• Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports.
• working and knowledge of logistics and inventory software.
• Knowledgeable of technical regulations related to logistics.
• Strong team player,

Physical demands:

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Good math skills such as addition, subtraction, and counting.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, work instructions and other relates job materials.
• Ability to perform repetitive job functions.
• Ability to properly read tape measure.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Work Environment:

• Be able to work in a noisy and congested environment. May be expose to extreme temperatures hot and cold, dusty areas, work performed inside and outside in all weather conditions, should therefore be dressed in protective clothing to protect against temperature conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
