LPN Supervisor

Interim Healthcare is looking for an LPN Supervisor for our Private Duty Department. This position will assist the Director of Health Care Services in establishing and monitoring compliance with standards to ensure clients, field employees and contract labor’s expectations are met or exceeded. Responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of all clinical services in accordance with the core values of Interim HealthCare.

LPN Essential Functions:

• Assist with planning and executing annual Flu clinic.
• Fill in as Community Manager when needed.
• Performs all private duty start of care (SOC) and case manages private duty clients as needed.
• Identifies performance issues related to patient care, discusses with supervisor and assists in resolution.
• Promotes agency through education to prospective and existing patients/clients.
• Communicates frequently with Director of Healthcare Services to ensure all partnerships are maintained with proper satisfaction.
• Ensures that daily patient care and client services as well as related office activities are conducted in accordance with applicable law and regulation.
• Ensures the respectful treatment of patients and clients and family members.
• Provides leadership to the staff in the compassionate care of the patient/ family unit.
• Develops and motivates the clinical and paraprofessional team.
• Ensures that appropriate action is taken to resolve identified caregiver or patient/ client concerns or complaints.
• Manages caregivers to achieve an acceptable level of patient/ client satisfaction.
• Identifies opportunities to improve the quality of patient care or client services, formulating and implementing an action plan and evaluating results.
• Develops processes and executes training to successfully implement changes in patient care or client service practices.

LPN Supervisor Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse with active license in both KS and MO.
• Evidence of current CPR certification for adults.
• At least three (3) supervisory experience.

LPN Supervisor Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Proven organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to multi-task, works under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines, and effectively handles a heavy workload.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with clinical and non-clinical personnel.
• Proficient in scheduling and EMR software programs.
• Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and supervisory skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
