Position Overview
: The Lubrication Technician assists the Maintenance Department in repairing, lubricating, and maintaining machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing and electrical systems of industrial establishment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:

  • Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
  • Obtain Scissor Lift certification.
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Perform conveyor lubrication and inspection tasks.
  • Utilize Maintenance Connection WO MCPads System (CMMS) to complete work orders.
  • Oil room storage cleaning and maintenance.
  • General
    • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
    • Regular and punctual attendance.
    • Work scheduled shifts, weekends, and extended hours as required.
    • Keep tools and work area clean and sanitary.
    • All other duties as assigned.
  • Conduct Downline equipment lubrication.
  • Conduct Filler room lubrication.
  • Lubricate and maintain bearings, balls, sprockets, chains and gearboxes.
  • Obtain Forklift certification.
  • Strong ability to work unsupervised.
  • Assist with training Maintenance Lube Technicians.
  • Assist Production Maintenance Technicians as needed

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: English is required, and the ability to speak Spanish is desirable.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts industrial equipment and forklifts. The employee is regularly exposed to heat and/or cold indoor conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
