Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Machine Operator position with a rubber manufacturing plant located in NW Portland. The person in this position will help learn to operate industrial machinery including rubber mill presses. This is a great entry level industrial role.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive training to learn to operate a splicing machine.
- Will learn all basic safety and procedures related to safe operation of the splicing machine.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and small cranes.
- Perform regular physical labor, moving rubber weighing up to 75lbs.
Qualifications:
- 6+ months experience in an industrial setting
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs pounds regularly and repetitively, stand for long periods of time, push, pull, and bend to move and manipulate materials
- Must be detail-oriented and able to take precise measurements
- DAY SHIFT: 6AM-4:30PM, MON-THURS.
- SWIN SHIFT: 4:15PM- 2:45am, MON-THURS
