Duties:

The Mailroom Clerk performs a variety of tasks in conjunction with the overall operation of the mailroom for the entire facility.
Essential Functions:
1. Pick up incoming mail from the post office in the morning.
2. Pick up and deliver internal mail two times a day.
3. Deliver outgoing mail to the post office in the afternoon
4. Operates a postage machine.
5. Maintains mailroom logs.
6. Requisitions postage and other materials as needed.
7. Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
8. Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Skills:

1. Mailroom or other clerical experience.

Education:

1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Belle Mead, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Mailroom or other clerical: 1 year (Required)
