Job description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures mechanical or structural integrity of equipment and facilities is maintained as one of the following: welder, fabricator, electrical, installation or plumber.
- Performs preventative maintenance projects, as well as coordinating the build out of special projects as requested.
- Assists and ensures all equipment is functional and work areas are returned to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition according to policy and procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot through strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and assignments.
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Solid ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, electrical diagram, work orders and procedure manuals.
- Good ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- General computers skills may apply.
