MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

1. Be at least 18 years of age.

2. A certification and experience in HVACC are highly recommended.

3. Knowledge of construction, refinishing, painting, plumbing, floor/carpet care, and refurbishing required. Landscaping experience is a plus.

4. Be in good health, and physically and mentally capable of performing the assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician, not more than (6) six months prior to or (7) seven days after employment.

5. Demonstrates freedom from pulmonary tuberculosis within (7) seven days of employment and annually thereafter.

6. Has current Adult First Aid card upon hire and maintains current status throughout employment.

7. Must be criminally cleared by DOJ and FBI via the Live-Scan prior to the initial presence in the facility.

8. Experience in senior housing is preferred.

9. Has demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in the areas of leadership and supervision.

10. Proficient written and oral communication skills are required.

11. A working knowledge of current OSHA regulations.

12. Must have a clean driving record as per the insurance carrier’s policy.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Conduct quarterly fire Drills and provide documentation and remedies/training for issues of concern (quarterly on each scheduled shift).

2. Maintains records in an orderly fashion regarding all services performed on community equipment, individual apartments, common areas, and grounds. This includes but is not limited to: paint color numbers, vendor names, chemicals specific steps and repairs, etc.

3. Keep a Maintenance Log with a list of requested and completed repairs.

4. Complete apartment turnovers timely. This will include: patching of holes, complete repainting, caulking shower, and toilet, coordinating floor covering replacement/cleaning if the community machine is not able, coordinating housekeeping services once finished with renovations, etc.

5. Monitor water and heat temperatures throughout the building and maintain them at RCFE specifications.

6. Clean all light fixtures on the exterior and interior of the building including changing any bulbs as needed.

7. Clean carpets and flooring on a routine basis to maintain a clean and odorless appearance.

8. Perform minor wall/sheetrock repairs throughout the building.

9. Maintain and clean filters and vents throughout the building.

10. Monitor, schedule, and perform routine maintenance and safety checks on community vehicles.

11. Assist with emergency resident evacuations as needed.

12. Salary depends on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
