Experience in building and ground maintenance; of construction techniques; of sanitation practices; of painting, and carpentry. Experience in the use of hand tools, power tools, table saws, etc. Experience in prioritizing work schedules; in monitoring and inspecting the work performed by staff and contractors and advises management on the specifics of ongoing projects. Experience in initiating requisitions for materials and supplies for projects. Experience in providing and maintaining accurate inventory records, supplies, and equipment.
Knowledge of the construction, repair, maintenance, and operation of buildings, equipment, and utility systems.
Skill in the use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Ability to follow instructions; to work from drawings, diagrams, or blueprints; and to communicate effectively.

Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another.

Flexibility in work hours may be required for this position. The position may be required to work overtime and/or extended hours.
