Role: Maintenance/ Test Technician

Shift: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM MON- FRI

Principal Responsibilities:

• Follow work instructions, production drawings and procedures under supervision.
• Sets up standard test equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, variable power supplies, frequency counters, and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production systems.
• Perform test procedures to text complex circuit boards including CPU’s, digital Signal Processors, transmitters and receivers.
• Collect, log into database, analyze and interpret test data.
• Required to complete paperwork, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Perform routine electronic testing. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience 3 years electronic technician
• The candidate must also be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and possess a can-do attitude.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and to perform repetitive hand motions.
• Knowledge of ESD procedures Ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, assembly drawings and follow on computer and written work instructions
• Be able to prioritize and plan work activities and Attention to details essential
• Follow Safety Procedures Must be able to read, write and understand in English and follow instructions
• Basic Computer and MS Office (Word, Excel and Access) user experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• San Diego, CA 92121: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
