Job Description:
As a Manager Trainee, you will be given the opportunity to learn all aspects of the Hertz rental business model and how to effectively manage and grow a successful business. As a Manager Trainee, you will learn the day-to-day aspects of the rental car business while you develop superior management, leadership, and customer service skills including how to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers. You’ll learn proper sales strategies/techniques for all of Hertz's products and services while honing your problem-solving and continuous improvement skills. Additionally, you will get a chance to learn the critical aspects of fleet management including how to effectively manage the fleet to achieve the greatest revenue and profitability.

- Commitment to developing and learning a wide variety of skills so that you can advance through the management levels.
- A desire to grow with Hertz including a willingness to live and work in a number of different cities throughout the United States.
- A deep desire to work with and lead others as a team to build a business that is both fast-paced and continually improving.
- An ability to learn all aspects of the rental car business from Customer Experience, Sales, Fleet Management, Maintenance, Vehicle Service, Vehicle Replenishment, and Financial Analysis.
- An ability to remain levelheaded and calm with both customers and employees as you assist them through challenging situations.
- An ability to be a Hertz Brand Ambassador at all times as you seek to create a positive environment and solutions that generate continued customer and employee loyalty.
Skills needed to be an LMT:
- Strong management, communications, customer service, problem-solving, and sales skills.
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
- Strong planning and logistical skills.
- A four-year degree is preferred for this role.
