Job Description & Summary

A career within our Domestic & International Outbound (DIO) Property group will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business.

As a Manager in PwC Ireland working in DIO you will work with some of the largest International Property Funds as well as the more local investors on a broad range of property related transactions supporting them on the various tax matters impacting their investments into and out of Ireland.

In the role of a strategic consultant you will help them with their tax strategy, support them in understanding the tax implications of transactions taking place in Ireland and overseas and ensure they are aware of their tax compliance obligations.

Responsibilities

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to the Directors/Partner group

  • Be involved in the financial management of clients

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients

  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team

  • Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria

  • Train, coach, and supervise team members

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand

About you

  • Degree in accounting, economics, finance, or law

  • AITI qualification preferred

  • Ideally 4+ years experience with at least 1 to 2 years at management level focusing on property transactions and property funds

  • Experience with working in, mentoring and leading diverse teams

  • Strong client driven commercial awareness and technical ability with excellent organisational, project management and analytical skills

  • Outstanding communication (both spoken and written) and people skills.
