Requirements

• Entry level. Zero or more years of experience in materials handling or warehouse operations. Driver's license required for incumbents with corresponding driving responsibilities. Employees in the Fayette Power Project and Ferguson attend and successfully complete Hazmat shipping training
• Any inventory Logistic and/or Cycle count experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of warehouse and stores practices Knowledge of materials, supplies and equipment for assigned work area Knowledge of maintenance and construction terminology Knowledge of accounting principles and practices Skill in operation of materials handling equipment used in department (including forklift, pallet jack, etc.) Skill in verbal and written communication Skill in communicating effectively with team members, supervision/management and external organizations including customers and vendors Skill in providing customer service Skill in reading and using pick list in order to expedite the availability of materials Basic skill level in office productivity applications (such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) Basic skill level in using work management systems for inventory control and receiving functions Ability to work in a team environment Ability to balance and manage competing high priority work demands

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Holidays
• Overnight shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Austin, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
