Cornerstone Pediatric Therapy is a dynamic home health company based in Carrollton, TX that serves the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and Waco area. We are looking for a Medical Billing Clerk / Administrative Assistant for our office in Carrollton.

About Us:

Cornerstone helps patients from birth to 21 years of age reach an optimal level of wellbeing by providing therapy services in their homes. We offer full-time, part-time and as needed (PRN) positions for speech, physical, and occupational therapists. We have a passion for serving not only the children of our community but their families as well by providing hope, support, and encouragement throughout the referral and therapy processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Appeal denied billing claims
• Post payments to patient accounts and ledgers
• Process secondary billing claims
• Verify claim statuses using EMR systems
• Collaborate with Finance Manager regarding billing needs
• Comply with policies and procedures as designated by state Medicaid programs and commercial insurances
• Provide administrative support through data entry, filing, and related tasks
• Communicate directly with other departments to identify administrative needs and expedite solutions
• Various administrative responsibilities for multiple departments
• Consistently maintain a professional representation of Company
• Demonstrate confidentiality, commitment, professional growth and competency
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work Schedule: in office 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Graduate - College preferred
• Current Driver's License
• One year related experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Computer proficient
• Bilingual in Spanish and English Preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
