Have you heard? Resources for Human Development (RHD) is hiring! Our Lower Merion Counseling and Mobile Services is hiring for a Full Time Medical Director, is that you?
RHD is seeking a Medical Director to join the LMCMS team on a full-time basis. The Medical Director will support the clinical team comprised of Master’s level and licensed therapists, medical assistants, CRNPs, and board certified Psychiatrists. The position is responsible for upholding RHD values, adheres to the standards of DDAP, OMHSAS, Magellan, Medicare, and any other funding or licensing bodies.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Medical Degree: MD.
  • At least two years experience.
  • Outpatient experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience.

Some Responsibilities Include:
  • Supervise the work of all psychiatrists and CRNPs including chart review, performance review, client concerns, etc.
  • Collaborate with other agencies or providers as needed to ensure continuity of care for individuals supported
  • Complete medications checks and psychiatric evaluations as needed.
  • Document sessions with a progress note and other required documentation in the EHR.
  • Review and update treatment plans, summaries, SSDI evaluations, and other legal documentation.
  • Provide staff with consultative advice, in-service education, case reviews as needed.
  • Provide consultation and support for emergencies after hours.
  • Review of biopsychosocials, treatment plans, treatment plan updates, and progress notes.
  • Assist with developing, revision and implementation of policies and procedures as required by regulations and relevant to clinical care.
  • Maintain accountability for the professional standards within the program.
  • Assure individuals are supported in addressing and maintaining highest compliance and best practice standards of licensing expectations and RHD Values.
  • Assist with training, oversight and guidance in clinical documentation.
  • Facilitate monthly physician team meetings.
  • Adherence to CQI plan.
  • Sign off on CRNP collaborative agreement.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Hold a current license to practice in PA.
  • Hold a current registration to prescribe controlled substances by the DEA.
  • Evidence of coverage under a medical malpractice insurance policy.
