Our pediatric wellness center will provide pediatric-centered care that utilizes evidence-based advances in science to support the therapeutic process. We are seeking a friendly, full-time Medical Receptionist to assist in the various administrative tasks in both our medical clinics and wellness center.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The primary role of this position is to answer all incoming telephone calls. Take clear messages for providers and other office staff, and route messages to the appropriate person. Ensure that all urgent messages are handled with priority per practice protocol.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Retrieve voicemail messages and return calls to patients.
• Monitor waiting room activity, keep appropriate clinical personnel informed of patient flow issues.
• Responsible for check-in function which includes greeting patients, answer all questions in a courteous and helpful manner within the scope of responsibility, reconcile demographics, verify insurances, collect co-payments & balances.
• Responsible for check-out functions such as the completion and collection of patient encounter forms, scheduling follow-up appointments.
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned to ensure the efficient overall performance of the practice.

Qualifications:

• Be able to work at both locations (Chelmsford & Dracut)
• Covid Vaccinated
• EMR experience (preferred)
