We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to become a part of our team! We are a well established Dermatology practice which also offers cosmetic services. We have two office locations in Pismo Beach & Santa Maria, CA. (You must be able to work at both locations.) You would be performing routine clerical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all daily tasks in a timely manner such as returning patient phone calls, scheduling appointments, prepping charts for next work day, confirming appointments, verifying Insurance benefits & eligibility, etc.
• Perform routine clerical tasks to support medical staff
• Data Entry & typing communication notes in Patients' Electronic Medical Records
• Collect patient copays, balances, and selling products as needed.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare (However, we will train the right candidate. Bilingual is a plus.)
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All patients and staff are required to wear a mask. Temperatures are taken upon entry of facility. All surfaces and working areas are wiped down with disinfectant constantly throughout the day.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
