Looking for Mental Health Specialists interested in a fast-paced inpatient setting located in North Chicago.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a

Registered Nurse

• Monitor patient vitals

• Facilitate therapeutic CBT group sessions

• Provide crisis intervention

• Stabilize and redirect patients

• 15 minute rounding throughout the unit to maintain a

safe and therapeutic environment

• Assure compliance with applicable laws pertaining to

behavior health in-patient care

• Maintain all patient documentation

• Position includes assisting patients in Activities of Daily

Living (bathing, shaving, toileting, etc.)

• EMR: Meditech

Shift Details:

• Day Shift

• 12-hour shifts

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology preferred

• 1 year of experience working in an acute psychiatric setting

• CPI trained and certified

• CPR certified

• Working knowledge of general and psycho-education group therapy, therapeutic relationships, and age specific growth and development

• Bilingual is a plus
