Job Scope

The Mobile Education Manager (MEM) is responsible for developing, growing, implementing, and overseeing the mobile education strategy of Acumed’s mobile lab program, including all Regional Clinical Directors (RCDs). Acumed’s mobile education program is designed to offer product users training and information to ensure the safe and efficacious use of our products. The MEM responsibilities will include leading product integration initiatives for the mobile lab program, utilizing available data analytics to ensure thoughtful mobile training strategy, assisting the RCD’s in shaping their routes throughout the territories, working with cross-functional partners at the Business Unit level to coordinate mobile lab initiatives at tradeshows across the USA, and providing strategic leadership and partnership with the team of RCDs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the execution of Acumed’s mobile training strategy aligned with the company’s goals and initiatives
  • Lead product integration related to the mobile lab program
  • Utilize available data analytics to ensure thoughtful mobile training strategy
  • Work with cross-functional partners to coordinate mobile lab initiatives at tradeshows and other events
  • Provide leadership, direction, partnership, and support to the team of RCDs
  • Create and drive performance metrics aligned with training strategy, department, and company objectives
  • Work in regular collaboration with the Director of Medical and Sales Education to ensure training strategy evolves throughout the year to meet current training demands
  • Evaluate current processes, procedures, and work flows of mobile lab program
  • Work in regular collaboration with the Marketing Communications team to ensure mobile lab schedule remains up to date on all websites and marketing collateral
  • Work closely with RCD’s to understand territory-specific training needs, and use this information to update overall training strategy
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures related to conducting training in the mobile labs
  • Liaise with existing, and help identify potentially new, key opinion leaders in support of marketing
  • Evaluate performance of RCDs by establishing objectives and measurements; providing constructive feedback on a regular basis
  • Manage mobile lab budget allocations within Company guidelines, always looking for cost-effective solutions that will result in the delivery of high quality learning experience
  • Assist RCD’s with handling, budgeting, scheduling mobile lab maintenance as needed
  • Manage a mobile lab in the temporary absence of an RCD
  • Provide clinical proficiency and ability to demonstrate products following a surgical technique
  • Collaborate with other members of the Acumed team to continuously improve mobile lab performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science, communication, education or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in medical device, education, or clinical anatomy
  • Medical device sales or Medical Education experience preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic vision
  • Ability to lead a team of individuals across a wide geographic area
  • Proven ability to train and educate, passion for learning
  • Strong anatomy and physiology background
  • Excellent writing, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with 40% business travel

Target Compensation: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00, plus discretionary bonus
