The Opportunity
We are looking for a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator with excellent experience in relationship management, marketing, communication, and analysis to assist loan applicants in securing the ideal mortgage. In this role, your primary goal is to help clients realize and meet their financial goals by responsibly advising them throughout the mortgage loan process, from application to closing. The ideal candidate can quickly identify customer needs, meet loan production goals, and work to ensure customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Contribute:
- Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with mortgage loan borrowers, advising and guiding them throughout the entire loan process
- Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them
- Collect and analyze prospective buyer income, assets and liabilities, background check, and loan application documents to determine creditworthiness
- Submit and monitor the status of applications while maintaining good relationships with clients and keeping them informed
- Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines
- Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction
- Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of recent experience as a full-time loan originator
- Current hold an active NMLS State License or Federal NMLS Registration
- Experience with CRM systems and prior experience with Encompass LOS systems a plus.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and company underwriting policies and guidelines
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and ability to influence through collaboration.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities and prioritize work in a deadline intensive environment.
- Self-motivated, high level of personal energy and commitment.
- Problem solving skills as well as flexibility and adaptability are of key importance
