Job Summary:

• As the MRI Tech, you will perform MRI exams of patients maintaining a high quality of care and completes all functions associated with procedure in a timely manner.
• You will perform all patients exam according to appropriate protocol.
• You interview patients and reviews charts/orders to obtain complete history.
• You ensure patient safety.
• You inform patient about procedure and answer patient's questions.
• You adhere to all Radiation and MRI safety regulations, ACR accreditation requirements, Joint Commission requirements, etc.
• You participate and assist department management with ACR accreditation activities and requirements, including quality assurance programs related to the requirements.

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiological technology
• 2 years post-graduate related experience
• Current registration with ARRT
• BLS Certified
• Must maintain compliance with ARRT CEU requirements and should be relevant to the radiologic sciences and/or patient care as it relates to the radiologic sciences.
• If chosen to be cross trained from another modality, must be registered within 6 months from registry eligibility
• (Registry eligibility is based on the completion of required procedures before being able to sit for exam ARRT requirement)
