Job Summary

Position – Multi Drop Delivery Driver ( including order picking in Cold stores/dry stores )

We are currently hiring for a multi drop driver ( including order picking ) to join our team.

The role will include 1 1/2 to 2 hours of order picking in the morning.

This position is 6 days per week. Monday to Saturday.

The candidate will then be required to load and deliver those orders to customers on a specific route while providing a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties

The role will include 1 1/2 to 2 hours of order picking & loading in the morning. The candidate will then be required to deliver those orders to customers on a specific route.

The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure that their deliveries are completed on time and delivered in a good condition.

To complete and submit drivers report and submit any cash sales.

Adhere to basic food safety requirements.

Report any queries, damages or accidents relating to your deliveries to your line manager.

Complete weekly cleaning and walk around checks of your delivery vehicle.

The starting time is 5.45 am Monday to Friday and 6.00 am on a Saturday.

Finishing times each day will depend on the level of business and operational needs of the business each day.

Full induction training will be provided.

Qualifications and Skills

Job Requirements

Full clean Category B drivers license.

Minimum of 2 years driving experience in a similar role.

Well-presented, mannerly, and must have fluent English.

Personal hygiene and professional presentation are of utmost importance.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, driven, and be able to work with a team.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills.

Basic H.A.C.C.P & manual handling training is desired but not essential.

Previous employment references will be required.

Benefits

We offer several staff incentives during the year to increase earnings, this is determined by the sales manager several times throughout the year.

Monthly subsistence payment will also be provided.

Online training courses will be provided.
