Overview
Seeking a 7th BC/BE Neonatologist to join our team of physicians and NNPs providing care in Reno/Tahoe, Nevada.
Renown Children’s Hospital has a Level-III NICU with approximately 500 admissions per year.- New state-of-the-art 49-bed Level III NICU is set to open in June 2023.
- Regional Referral Center for rural Northern Nevada and areas of Northern California.
- Neonatal transport team staffed by NNPs, NICU RNs and RTs.
- Services include high-frequency jet and oscillators, conventional ventilators, iNO and cooling for HIE.
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine plus full pediatric subspecialty support.
- Thriving quality improvement program and access to Mednax’s Clinical Data Warehouse with opportunity and support for projects and research.
- Renown Children’s Hospital has partnered with University of Nevada, Reno to create a pediatric residency program. Residents and medical students will be rotating through the NICU, and there will be exciting opportunities to help shape the program.
Effective November 1st, 2021 Pediatrix will require all employees and new hires to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they qualify for an approved medical and/or religious exemption.
