Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team and grow along side one of the nations top manufacturing plants!

Job Descriptions:

Read blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters; interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

· Sets-up mills and lathes and other equipment by installing tools, attachments, and fixtures

· Adjust cutting parameters and associated tool technology

· Loads or feeds mechanism by lifting stock into position.

· Coordination with engineering on process and product improvement along with strategies used for production

· Reading and editing G&M codes

· Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.

· Maintains specifications by observing milling, drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread cutting operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunction, troubleshooting processes, replacing worn tools, adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

· Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

· Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions.

· Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

· Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

· Perform other routine duties as directed

Requirements

Advanced math skills with the ability to understand measuring/measurement concepts and their applications.

· Familiarity with machining various materials (ductile, stainless, aluminum, super alloys, carbon steel, brass/bronze)

· Familiarity with basic and advanced tools of measuring and when to use for inspection of parts.

· Must be organized, detail-oriented.

· Standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50lbs.

· Experience in an industrial and/or manufacturing type environment.

· Work Safely in the Manufacturing Production Environment.

· Follow detailed verbal/written assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

· Read and understand work orders and assembly instructions.

· Prepare and assemble materials and parts in a manufacturing production environment.

· Perform quality control checks and verification of work order specifications.

· Properly fill out basic forms, reports, and label products correctly.

· Communicates and works effectively with others.

· Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Supervisor.

· Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
