Job Description:

We are looking for City Dispatcher who will be receiving and assigning work orders to our local drivers, coordinating pickups and deliveries within 200 miles from our terminal in Parsippany, NJ.

Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will be responsible for planning and arranging pickups/deliveries, dispatching/communicating with our drivers, resolving service and delivery issues, coordinating driver schedules and arranging shipments according to customer requirements, other duties and tasks as required by the management.

Requirements:

• Minimum one year dispatch experience
• Good geographical knowledge of NJ, PA, NY, MD states is an asset
• Solid understanding of all the aspects of transportation industry
• Ability to work as a part of the team
• Ability and desire to work in positive, fast paced environment
• Strong customer service and organization skills required
• Experience working with Load Link and UFOS programs (asset)
• trong knowledge of computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web based software
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
