We are seeking a Development Manager to join our clients non-profit team! In this exciting opportunity, candidates will play a key role in the development team, spearheading fundraising efforts related to the special events, donor campaigns, institutional giving, corporate engagement, and communications.

This is a full-time permanent role, working fully onsite in the main office in NYC!

To qualify for this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

• 7+years of non-profit work experience
• A bachelor’s degree
• Event planning experience
• Familiarity in CRM database software (Bloomerang is a plus)
• Must be able to problem solve, multi-task, manage deadlines, and have impeccable attention to detail.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Fundraising Event Management- Coordinate all event logistics including venue prospecting, directing and coordinating vendors, managing VIP guests and keynote speakers, and organizing staff volunteers.
• Individual Donor Relations & Stewardship- Work closely with the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer to meet overall department goals, engage and maintain relationships with donors, meet financial targets, and maintain ongoing communications with the Board of Directors.
• Grants Management- Prepare and submit grant applications, maintain grants calendar and historical grant records, and build, maintain, and cultivate relationships with foundation and corporate grant makers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
