Off-Set Printer Technician $20.00hr-28.00hr

The Printer Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a printer. Set up and operate 6 to 8 color dry offset printing equipment to match customer approved artwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate 6 to 8 color dry offset printing equipment to match customer approved artwork.

· General Machine Maintenance.

· Use common hand tools and measuring devices including a dial indicator.

· Be physically capable to climb 8’ ladder to pack product.

· Operate a forklift.

· Be responsible for quality of product produced on the shift.

· Complete paperwork as needed.

· Keep work area safe and clean.

· Performs other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

· Good mechanical skills and the ability to use tools to make machine adjustments.

· Forklift Experience.

· Perform basic math skills.

• Read and write English.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous printer experience.

· Forklift experience.

· Previous experience in a manufacturing setting.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements:

· The Machine Operator is on his/her feet throughout the day but is often required to move material using a forklift.

· Lifting, squatting, bending and carrying. Able to lift 25-60 pounds.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
