ShopGoodwill.com is the first ecommerce platform created, owned, and operated by a nonprofit organization. Today, more than 130 Goodwill organizations from around the United States and Canada list and auction unique items on the site, including art, antiques, collectibles, apparel, jewelry, electronics and more. Shopgoodwill.com provides an engaging online shopping destination to further Goodwill’s mission of helping people who are facing barriers to find jobs.

The Online Merchandise Poster is responsible for ensuring items received from Goodwill retail sites are properly processed. The Online Merchandise Poster demonstrates behaviors consistent with our Mission, Vision and Values, on behalf of Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana.

Hours of Operation

7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Working shifts available include: 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

**May include occasional overtime work on Saturdays 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

Post products on ClickGoodwill website, ensuring accuracy in product descriptions, grammar and spelling.

Must be proficient with a computer and Google programs.

Navigate the Internet to research products.

Ability to meet production quota.

Willing to cross-train.

Attention to detail is a must.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Follow all safety procedures.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma

Must be at least 18 years of age

Military experience highly preferred

Able to work independently

Results-oriented and driven to achieve goals and quotas

Able to think critically, and make decisions quickly

Strong written communication skills, including proper spelling and grammar

Technically proficient with Google Drive, Google Hangout, Gmail, Microsoft Office products and Internet navigation

Ability to type 50 WPM

Knowledge of antiques, collectibles, jewelry, memorabilia, and artwork

Knowledge of clothing labels and designer products

Basic mathematics skills required

Knowledge of search engine optimization

Previous auction site sales experience desired. (i.e. eBay, Facebook, OfferUp, Etsy, Letgo, Shopify, etc.)

Technical writing background a plus

Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
