Risk Advisory - Operations Manager / Senior Operations Manager

Your role
The Operations Manager/Senior Operations Manager will work closely with the RA partner group and is responsible for delivering ongoing support in the areas of operations, finance and performance to the RA team. You will play a key role in implementing important process changes that will enable the RA business to operate more effectively. You will also provide operational and analytical support to the RA leadership team. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the daily business and administrative operations and improving operating procedures for optimal effectiveness
- Driving operational effectiveness by ensuring compliance and consistency regarding methods & tools
- Driving efficiencies through automation and technological enablement available from Deloitte or beyond
- Daily engagement with business partners (e.g. HR, Finance) and reporting to a dedicated RA operations partner.
- Being the main point for ADM (Alternative Delivery Models) to drive business performance
- Preparing periodic performance analysis and ad-hoc reporting and managing supply and demand of ADM
- Working collaboratively with the business to promote growth of ADM and facilitate the implementation of new services
- Supporting the business to implement any new tools, platforms or processes including leading out any relevant training
- Analysing available statistics and data to spot trends, predict demand and spot opportunities
- Oversight of resource management to ensure optimised utilisation across the business
- Planning, budgeting and analysing performance against plan (working closely with our Leadership team)
- Providing considered information to aid our management team to make strategic decisions
- Planning future initiatives in line with our strategic objectives
Your professional experience
The candidate requires proven relevant experience, with a combination of experience in strategic, financial, and operational aspects of organisations, focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, supporting role.
As a trusted advisor, working closely with the RA Leadership team, the role requires a highly-resourceful individual with:
- Operations experience
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written, excellent PowerPoint and a very good grasp of excel
- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders and interact and interface with all levels within the firm, including leadership
- Experience of professional services is a preference but not mandatory
- Ability to build tools, methodologies and processes to support teams
- Self-starter but also having the ability to work as part of a team in particular with HR, Finance, Clients and Industries and Operations
- Unyielding focus on quality results (analysis and deliverables) with an ability to meet tight deadlines
