Our client, a successful Food Producer, who has been operating for over 30 years, is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team in Cork.

Reporting the CEO the Operations Manager will have full responsibility for managing factory operations to meet and exceed customer expectations.

A Site Leadership opportunity with a consistently growing food group.

Suitable for candidates located within commutable distance from East Cork, South Tipperary or Waterford.

Full-Time, Permanent Position

Excellent Salary

Annual Bonus of up to 15%

Pension Contribution Scheme (5%) on completion of 2 years employment

Life Assurance (three times annual basic pay) on completion of 2 years employment

Role:

• Manage day to day production and factory operations
• Deliver improved production efficiencies, namely output, quality, yield, labour utilisation & packaging to ensure targets & KPIs are achieved
• Monitor, improve and maintain all customer service levels, both internal and external
• Ensure a structured approach to Continuous Improvement is in place
• Work closely with the Quality Manager to continuously improve the QMS on site
• Build and maintain high performing, balanced, cohesive and diverse teams that achieve common goals and excellent results
• Ensure that all mandatory training is kept up to date for all personnel

Requirements:

• Proven Production / Factory Management experience in the Food Industry
• Demonstrate a track record of delivering sustainable change initiatives and results
• Proven track record of achievement in continuous improvement
• People Management experience
• Excellent communication skills & computer literate
• Commercial acumen
