Description of Duties:

The Executive Assistant for the Office of the Program Manager supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:


  • Support the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and their direct reports and teams with all administrative needs which include calendar management, meeting scheduling, event planning, travel arrangements, expense reconciliations and reports, support preparation of materials, and operate presentation equipment
  • Independently assist the managers and professionals in preparing reports, agendas, presentations and correspondence
  • Manage special projects pertaining to the OPM
  • Facilitate leadership meetings; coordinate schedules while balancing competing priorities; support preparation of materials; operate presentation equipment
  • Coordinate travel schedules; prepare expense reports for directors and leads within organization

The successful candidate will:

  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to systems / processes; strong self-direction
  • Work with and maintain confidential, proprietary and sensitive information
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and have frequent interaction with senior management and staff from across the contract and customers, to include executive offices with Jacobs.
  • Have the proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

This position will be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO


This position is expected to pay $72,100 - $82,100 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.


This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days. If a candidate has not been selected at that time, it will continue to be posted until a suitable candidate is selected or the position is closed.

Here’s What You’ll Need:


Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience


  • Must have 4 years of directly related experience
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:


  • Have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Have previous experience supporting DoD government contracts
  • Have experience in managing schedules, arranging travel and submitting expense reports for executives
  • Have experience in technical writing and editing
