Job Title: Oracle DBA
Location: Irving TX(Day on onsite.)
Skills and Exp Required:
- Have Good Experience in Configuring and Administering Oracle High Availability Features like Data Guard, Real Application Clusters (RAC), and ASM.
- Have a Good understanding of RAC Architecture and Internals. Able to troubleshoot day-to-day RAC Issues.
- Proficient in Installation, Upgradation, Maintenance, and Tuning of Oracle 11g Databases on Different Platforms.
- Proficient in Cross Platform Database Migration
- Review common Oracle Tuning Points, such as cache hit ratio, latch contention, and other points dealing with memory management.
- Experience in SQL Performance Tuning
- Experience in Planning and Implementing Backup Strategies using Hot Backup, Cold backup, Logical backup, and RMAN.
- Experience with PSU/CPU
- Knowledge of 12c OEM grid control and OEM Agents and Monitoring grid control.
- Performed Logical Backups using Export/Import utilities and Data Pump.
- Knowledge of Oracle Golden Gate
- Shell Script knowledge will be an Added Advantage.
- Creation of Oracle Users, Oracle Roles, Granting Privileges and Profiles, etc.
