Tekno Surgical is a leading Medical Device Distributor in Ireland with an extensive portfolio covering a range of Specialties including Orthopaedics, Robotic & Navigated Technology, Spine, Head & Neck Specialties, Endoscopy, Microscopes & Hospital Furniture.

Tekno has a strong presence in the Joint Replacement Market and we are the exclusive Distributors for the Stryker Portfolio & related Technologies in the Republic of Ireland.

Technology is becoming a necessary requirement in all Surgical Specialities, and Stryker are at the forefront with MAKO Robotics, Orthomap Knee & Hip Navigation Systems and Blueprint 3D visualization of Shoulder anatomy & virtual implantation.

Tekno is recruiting an Orthopaedic Technology & Joint Replacement Specialist to join our growing Team in the Republic of Ireland.

The role will be mainly Eastern based, however the candidate will be required occasionally to service other Accounts as part of the ROI Joint Replacement & Technology Team.

  • The Sales Specialist will be responsible for the complete Orthopaedic Technology & Implant Portfolio in your Accounts. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to introducing new products for the company.
  • Building Product development from existing Accounts, and help to develop new business through your contact with Customers, Colleagues and the Companies who Tekno represents in the Irish Market.
  • A Technical qualification and aptitude is required in order to comprehend and have a curiosity for learning new Surgical Technologies.
  • Candidates must have the ability to be comfortable working in the Hospital Operating Room environment, gain expertise in Joint Replacement Surgical Implant Systems, and become proficient as a MAKO Product Specialist, plus a Navigational Systems & Blueprint Technology Specialist.
  • This role requires both Technical and Sales Skills, with a primary focus on Customer Service & Patient Safety.
  • A minimum 3 years’ experience working in the Hospital environment is preferable.
