Outdoor Pool Card Check Attendant
This seasonal position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
As a Card Check Attendant, you will exhibit excellent customer service skills by greeting and interacting with members and handling monetary and membership transactions. You should be able to multi-task and occasionally help cover other shifts for co-workers.
Hours and Days: This is a summer, seasonal position beginning Memorial Day and ending in mid-late August. Training may be required before the pool opening.
Monday-Saturday: Shifts run between 10:45am - 8:15pm
Sundays 11:45 am -5:30 pm
Sundays 11:45 am -5:30 pm
Must be able to work at least 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays a month
Requirements: 17+ years of age, you should be a friendly extrovert able to interact with all ages of members. Basic computer skills required with strong problem-solving skills and the ability work independently. Must show accuracy with cash transactions and have experience in customer service.
Rate of pay: $10.10/hour
All part-time staff members working 16+ hours per quarter receive a complimentary individual membership along with other membership discounts!
