Part-time position available. 24 hrs/wk graveyard shift with some flexibility in the hours. Approximate shift schedule is 9:30 pm - 5:30 am. Coverage is needed for Saturday, Sunday & Monday.

Danville Development is seeking an experienced individual to secure 3 senior housing properties, located in Salt Lake City.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

• Performing security patrols; includes patrolling each floor of the building, stairwells and the parking lot, both upper and lower lot every 60-90 minutes. Make a presence on the property.
• Protecting property from theft, vandalism, disturbances, accidents etc.
• Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions etc.
• Detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of visitors and vendors, make sure they have the appropriate escort
• Maintains and operates security camera system and equipment
• Communicates openly and frequently with the Property Director
• Investigates and writes reports to document accidents, incidents suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situations on a nightly basis, beginning at the start of each shift.
• Provide any needed assistance to residents and/or visitors according to policies and procedures

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Light maintenance work
• Light office work
• Other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL

• Must have a vehicle

• Interact positively and professionally with residents, guest, vendors etc.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one’s own success as well as the success of your team
• Must be able to tolerate out door elements year-round, frequent exposure to cold, hot, slippery and wet conditions. While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, reach, stand, walk, bend. You will perform task that require repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination, hear and respond to resident inquires

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
