We're hiring a Patient Care Manager in Preop/PACU (Comer, DCAM) at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Hyde Park, Illinois.
The Patient Care Manager in the Preop/PACU (Comer, DCAM) area has the responsibility and accountability with the Care Center Clinical and Medical Directors for planning, organizing, and directing of all activities related to patient-centered care, fostering nursing excellence and the retention and recruitment of staff on a designated unit in the care center.
The Patient Care Manager creates a work climate that encourages positive staff morale, motivation, and commitment for all patient care team members. In this role, you will facilitate regularly scheduled staff meetings to provide opportunities for discussion of staff and unit topics. You will have responsibility in research and quality initiatives to implement positive change.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
- Current RN Illinois License
