As one of the largest private group practices in the US, BBS is looking for a Patient Services Specialist to join our team Located in Downtown Phoenix at our 3090 Office! In general, the Patient Services Specialist will:

• Warmly greet patients, guests, vendors and visitors
• Ensure that all patient paperwork and insurance information is up to date and correct
• Collects co-pay if necessary and issues receipt or email
• Check faxes and distribute to appropriate department
• Notifies physician office and/or clinic staff of patient arrivals
• Updates patient information in EMR
• Answer telephones and transfers caller to appropriate staff member
• Help create an extraordinary patient experience by providing world class customer service.
• Self-motivated to work with little supervision

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred but we are willing to train.
• EMR experience in Centricity / Athena a plus.
