Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a Pharmacy Technician 2 Full-Time Days/Evenings to join our team. This role is Full-time Monday-Friday, Days/Evenings with Rotating Weekends. Eligible for Sign-on Bonus. Apply today to Job ID 624524!

Responsibilities:

• Procure and distribute medications per physician and Pharmacist requests or prearranged work assignments according to established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Maintain adequate stock of medications and supplies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV admixture procedures including using aseptic technique in preparation of medication, calculations, maintenance of clean areas and complete documentation is of vital importance.
• Taking ownership for the control, accountability and distribution of controlled drugs in the Pharmacy is required.

Requirements:

• Education: High School or GED
• Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday, Days/Evenings with Rotating Weekends
• Experience: 1 Year Experience as a Pharmacy Tech in a Hospital Setting
• Licensure: Virginia Pharmacy Tech License active upon start and certified within 6 months
