Family Physician

Marathon Health is seeking a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Family Physician who has knowledge and experience in primary care and preventative services to treat and work with the employees and families (ages 12+) of our municipal customer at their employer sponsored health and wellness center in St. Augustine, FL.

This is a 40 hour per week position. No on-call hours! We offer excellent salary and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA, HSA, malpractice, CME assistance, life and disability, paid time off and holidays.

Hours: M/Tu/Th/Fri 8am-5pm, Weds 10am-7pm & every 4th Saturday 9am-1pm

Responsibilities:
The Family Physician is responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions.

The position will also be responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the medical staff within the Marathon Health Center. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.
Qualifications:
  • Unrestricted medical license required
  • Provider DOT Examiner NRCME Certification strongly preferred. If not currently certified, this role will require DOT certification upon hire.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Must have primary care/family practice experience
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
  • You should believe in making a difference and believe in quality decisions, great communication, collaboration, and instilling trust to lead a great wellness program
