Planner Skills:

The Planner role would suit a highly organised, delivery orientated individual who pays close attention to detail, with a degree / higher diploma in a construction related field and 5-10 years post qualification experience in a Civil's planning environment.

• Experience of working on high value projects to tight deadlines

• Excellent IT skills

• Must be able to identify project milestones, monitor & report

• Have a keen eye for detail and accuracy; from tender submissions to live-tracking and program execution.

• Strong problem solving skills.

• Ability to multi-task at a high level

As Senior Planner:

• Attend regular meetings with internal and external project stakeholders.

• Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals.

• Negotiate development proposals with local authorities and others.

• Coordinate the management team with the planning and programming of the design, procurement and construction activities associated with the works.

• Review local and national planning policy.

• Compile progress reports

• Undertake site visits as required.

• Deliver projects on time and in a budget.

• Production of project plans, scheduling, liaising with Project Managers and Engineers, site visits to check progress

The Package:

An excellent package will be put in place for the successful candidate which will be based on your experience. A strong candidate will expect a basic salary of €90,000 – €100,000 + vehicle + pension + healthcare.
