Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize projects in the field and maintain active knowledge of project parameters.
- Obtain and study the project drawings and specifications. Including the scope of work as defined by our contract with the General contractor.
- Maintain open communication with the General contractor and attend project meetings.
- Maintain record documents and approved submittals. Notify the project manager if there are missing submittals.
- Maintain a daily log of potential changes or back charges and unusual circumstances that may warrant attention. Report back charges and change orders to project managers. If the project manager agrees to change order, then fill out the change order request and submit to the project manager to include in monthly billings before the 20th of every month. Maintain a log of all Change order requests, (COR).
- Write and submit all requests for information (RFI s) and maintain a log of all RFI s.
- Install plumbing systems.
- Train journeymen, apprentices, and laborers.
- Maintain daily records of timesheets for all Jet employees that you are responsible for. Sign off on all timesheets before submitting them to the office. Submit timesheets to the office.
- Maintain project schedule
- Receive approval for overtime from General Manager.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid OR, WA, ID, or Reciprocating State Journeyman's Plumbing License
- Active driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- 2+ years of Plumbing Foreman experience preferred
- Experience with large commercial, mixed-use, apartment, remodel, and TI projects
- Ability to read and follow plans and specs
- Ability to communicate effectively with the direct crew, maximize efficiency, meet project schedules, and deliver high-quality projects on time
