We are looking for a Process Technician
Front end sample preparation routine lysing and cleaning DNA. Sample registering and scanning of samples. Making buffers when required. Quality control of incoming samples
Role Functions
- Completion of daily sample registration and reconciliation of same with electronic data
- Prepare buffers, materials as required for analytical procedures
- General Housekeeping
- Assisting routine processing of test samples and associated electronic information
- Lysing and cleaning DNA samples
- Scanning of sample
- Sample quality checks
Requirements
· Experience in using multi-channel pipettes
· Previous experience in an ISO accredited laboratory
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Familiarity with a manufacturing or production line environment
· Ability to work independently and to daily targets
· Experience in DNA clean up and preparation preferred, not essential
· Work as part of a team to achieve common goals
· Fast learner
Positive attitude
